MAC Containers: on-site accommodation
Hill Farm in Hampshire is the site of one of the biggest on-shore oil fields discovered in the UK in the last twenty years.
Run by Star Energy Oil UK Limited, the site has a significant number of workers who have to be accommodated.
In 2006, MAC Containers provided the Hill Farm Well site with fully-equipped living, site accommodation, office, toilet and shower blocks for the employees as well as secure on-site storage containers for tools and equipment.
Each accommodation unit is:
- insulated and heated
- partitioned to provide sleeping and living quarters
- plumbed in
and is equipped with its own two double bedrooms, toilet, sink, shower, heating, lighting, insulation and secure steel shuttered windows.
There are also shower and changing facilities on the site so the workers really do have a home from home.
